12 V infrared sensor with barrel connector

This small 12 V infrared sensor works like the light in a refrigerator: as soon as you open the door, it automatically switches on your light chain or another LED light. With this IR sensor, you can illuminate cabinets, drawers and more without a switch. If there is no obstacle, such as a cabinet door, within approx. 3–12 cm of the sensor, the light switches on. The light comes on when the cabinet door or drawer is opened and switches off when it is closed. The LED sensor is simply connected between the power source, such as an LED power supply with max. 3 A, and the LED strip. The plug and socket fit all common LED power supplies. This practical LED sensor provides automatic cabinet lighting or a light barrier.
